A Special Message for My Wife, My Love and My Best and Most Trusted Friend…

Since I am not a great poet, and yet have a great appreciation for those who are, I wanted to dedicate this to and share this writing by E.E. Cummings with Sandy — since it prefectly expresses my Love for You !    Thank you for a wonderful 36 years ++ of marriage, love and fun… may we share many decades ahead together…Owen

I carry Your Heart with me ( I carry it in my Heart )

I carry your heart with me (I carry it in my heart)
I am never without it (anywhere
I go you go, my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing, my darling)
I fear no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet) I want
no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

Here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that’s keeping the stars apart

I carry your heart ( I carry it in my heart )

What woman would not appreciate such a romantic husband? I never expected you to post something like this. But, then again…you are still full of surprises. I know that my heart is safe in yours - thank you for reminding me!
    I love you, too…

Owen and Sandy, we read your info posted about the death of Dave and Sheila. We just
found out yesterday by running into Bill Jones (Nany and Bill were in our SS class in new Orleans) in Slidell at Sams. I know you are devastated, and we are terribly sorry
for you. Please email me if you get this so we won’t loose touch. Nancy June 37, 2008

    Nancy,
Have not checked Owen’s blog in a while and he has not posted in a very long time. Please call us at home… we are in the book.
